We connect you to the abundance of creativity in our community to empower and inspire.
Arts & Humanities Bainbridge gives residents and visitors to Bainbridge Island the tools to explore the unique abundance of creativity in our community. Bainbridge Island’s rich tradition of arts and culture is an indispensable part of what makes this a special place to live and visit: just scratch the surface and discover a whole world of creative possibilities. We believe that getting connected to this wellspring knits us together and transforms lives.
Currents Online is a community service of Arts & Humanities Bainbridge. Our other efforts include the Arts in Education Program, which connects teaching artists with local public school classrooms; the Public Art Committee, which brings art to our shared public spaces; and our Fiscal Sponsorship program, which nurture fledgling organizations and events that enrich our community’s artistic landscape.
Originally incorporated in 1986 as the Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council, Arts & Humanities Bainbridge has been a pillar of Bainbridge Island’s cultural sector for more than 30 years.
