Study Group: A Course in Miracles (ACIM)

Study Group: A Course in Miracles (ACIM)

Presented by Dayaalu Yoga and Wellness Center at Dayaalu Yoga and Wellness Center

A Course in Miracles (ACIM), the mystical non-dual texts that emerged in the twentieth century teaches that our fundamental obstacle to happiness is our belief that we are separate from God/Love. ACIM presents a system of practices that assist us in becoming more aware of love’s presence permeating our lives. And as our awareness of this love expands, we are able to experience more joy, peace, and happiness.

For the last ten years, Shakti and Govinda have been studying the teachings of A Course in Miracles. In 2020, they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Course with the late Tom Carpenter, a Course mentor, and currently study with Dr. Robert & Hollie Holden. Govinda is a committed meditation practitioner and lifetime teacher who loves to share his 40 year spiritual path with others. Shakti is a life coach and psychotherapist as well as a popular meditation instructor on Insight Timer with over 13,000 followers.

The Study Groups are held in a discussion-based format. We will have short meditations, read from the text, share and discuss. The Course can sometimes seem dense and impenetrable, but when you discuss it with others, the meaning can come to life. Please bring a notebook and your copy of ACIM if you have one.
