Undocumented Injustice Panel Discussion

For this Untold Stories event, our panel will share and discuss the experiences of undocumented peoples, advocacy for Dreamers, and what it is like to live under threat of discovery.

Joining us is Rene Julio, a previously undocumented artist living in Seattle, Israel Herrejon, formerly with the Mexican Consulate of Seattle, and immigration attorney Chelan Crutcher-Herrejon of Crutcher-Herrejon Law Group.

Rene Julio is a Seattle based artist known for his murals and public works around the region. He recently attained Permanent Resident Status after a long period of living undocumented.

Chelan Crutcher-Herrejon

Chelan Crutcher-Herrejon is an immigration attorney and founder of the Crutcher-Herrejon Law Group. She assists clients throughout Washington in navigating the legal system, challenging deportation orders, and finding pathways towards legal residence.

Israel Herrejon

Israel Herrejon worked for the Mexican Consulate in Seattle and is well versed in the complexities of migration to the US. He brings a unique perspective to the typically US centered dialogues about immigration.
