Former students, teachers and authors, in addition to members of the 1970s Minority History Committee, will discuss the text, They Cast a Long Shadow, the first locally written textbook to include the history Bainbridge Island’s BIPOC communities. The text is available at the Bainbridge Branch of the Kitsap Regional Library and the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum.
