Working from photographs, and perhaps each other, artists will paint portraits while learning about form, proportions, measuring, composition, layering and mixing of colors. We'll explore a variety of ways to create texture using pallete knives, and explore the art of subtle blending with brush technique. Materials list: #2 Princeton Filbert brush (size #2), Princeton Dakota Bright brush (size #4), Paints: Black, Zinc White, Ochre, Rembrandt Warm Grey, Old Holland Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Quinocidone Red, or subsitute. Linseed Oil, and Gamsol.

SUNDAY: 10/24, 11/7, 11/14 2:00-6:00 $100 per class, or $270 for any three classes.
