What is ArtBites?

We think of ArtBites as an intense little appetizer: the perfect bite-sized pop of inspiration to invigorate your senses and leave you wanting more. It all starts with a group of experienced panelists who bring nuanced perspectives and unique insights into the topic at hand. Their memorable stories and sharp observations will form the backbone of our discussion, but we love to hear from you, as well! One of our favorite things about ArtBites is the smart, thoughtful audience this program attracts, and there will be opportunities for small-group discussion as well as time for panelists to respond to audience questions. Whether you’re a lifelong art-lover or just beginning to explore your imagination, ArtBites is a delicious pop of creative inspiration you won’t want to miss.

What is The Magic of Light Art?

We’re kicking off 2021 in conversation with several of the innovative Northwest artists whose striking light art creations are featured in our current Wintertide Light Art Experience. Hear firsthand how each artist became interested in light art, from other artists whose work provides inspiration to the technological advances that are making it possible for more artists to incorporate light into their work. Our conversation will also explore what makes Webster’s Woods—with its 5 acres of rugged second-growth Olympic forest—such a unique and striking location to experience lighted art.
