Artists Amaranta Ibarra-Sandys and Emily Candela McLaughlin have recreated Frida Kahlo’s legendary painting, Dos Fridas, in the form of a costumed performance. A short film shot by Jenn Bennett will depict their 2020 Día de los Muertos installation in Tieton, WA, and the three creatives will talk together and answer questions about the origin of their collaboration and its meaning.
