The space
Tucked back from the main road, our Fawn Cottage is quiet and private, with a lovely grove, gardens, large yard (by urban standards), and there are ample options for outdoor relaxing when the weather is fair. Alternately, when the Pacific Northwest offers it’s drizzle, you’ll be comfortable in this well heated home, cozying up in front of the gas fireplace and listening to the rain fall on the skylights. The covered car port will keep your car (should you have one) nice and dry on those rainy days.
You’ll find a master bedroom with queen size bed and lots of natural light. French doors open to the front deck and peaceful grove. There’s an Imac computer for your use – great for watching movies.
There is a second room with another queen bed and view of the side yard.
If you are more than 4 people and need additional sleeping options, the couch or a single camping cot are available upon request. Please let us know in advance so we can be sure you have the right linens for all sleeping scenarios.
Down the hall is the bathroom with full bath and shower combo.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an open dining plan that spills out French doors into the back patio-garden adjoining the yard. This space works as a great indoor/outdoor gathering place.

Step out and enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars in our 3 person hot tub or around the fire pit in the patio-garden by the studio.
Fawn Cottage has a delightful mix of deep green, moss, and natural sunlight. We think it’s perfect. We might have a slight bias, but still.
There is a trampoline. Our insurance carrier requires all individuals to sign a liability waiver before jumping on. So please connect with us in advance to do that paperwork. Brain injuries and broken bones are strictly prohibited. 🙂
There are musical instruments about – a piano and sometimes a guitar on the wall. You are welcome to play them, we just ask that you treat them with care.
You’ll also find a record player/stereo, with a great collection of vinyl. You are also welcome to spin a few tracks on the ol’ turntable, roll up the rug in the living room, and spin your partner a few times.
