Hot club swing is a genre pioneered by the Hot Club of France led by the phenomenal artists Django Reinhardt on guitar and Stephanne Grappelli on violin. Ranger’s band, which has a unique twist on the genre, will be joined by Ryan Hoffman on guitar
Ryan has studied guitar all over the world! He started out playing rock and roll in Kansas City, then picked up swing during a long stay in New Orleans. He traveled to Europe multiple times to learn Hot Club Swing, where he studied with Fapy Lafertin, one of the top guitarists in the genre. Ryan was a member of Pearl Django from 2007-2015. His solos are never rushed or crowded, and always melodic.
