We're gearing up for the finale to Celebrate Bainbridge Island 2022 with the 55th Annual Grand Old 4th festivities!

After dancing in the street under the stars, we're ready to enjoy a short stack #pancakebreakfast hosting by the high school's booster club.

Afterward we'll stroll through the Car Show - with more than 70 unique, classic and modern entries and peruse the Street Fair artisans and food vendors and KidZone, complete with pony rides and giant slide!

Then its off to find a place for the mile-long Hometown Parade!

If your Independence Day weekend travel plans include a ride on our ferries, make sure you plan ahead!

This weekend ferry terminals will be busy with travelers for Fourth of July and that includes Seattle and Bainbridge terminals.
The busiest times to reach the island will be Thursday and Friday (June 30 & July 1) and conversely WSDOT is anticipating high volumes of traffic off the island Monday and Tuesday (July 4 & 5).

Pro-Tip – While the SEA>BI ferry doesn’t take reservations, be sure to sign up for WSDOT’s rider alerts (https://tinyurl.com/255k5byj)and the handy WSDOT travel map feature (https://wsdot.com/Travel/Real-time/Map/)
They’ll tell you whether the ferry is on-time or delayed and help you better understand traffic on the way to the terminal.
